Fribourg tax - UK house - calculating value in CHF? - English Forum ...

Some 20 years ago we had a house in the UK which was up for sale, so we had a good idea of the value and converted it at CHF3.20 to the ? - those were the days!

Anyway, we were generally concerned at that time that we were paying too much tax, and paid a visit to our local (ZH) tax office. Amongst the suggestions the tax officer made was that we halve the value of our house in the UK!

So it seems they are fairly flexible on this. Converting at CHF1.5 will help too...
