California man guilty of dealing cocaine in ETX

According to U.S. Attorney John M. Bales, a 44-year old San Bernardino, California man has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges in East Texas.

According to court records, on March 1, 2012, Reginald Lavann Eastern was in possession of approximately 1 kilogram of cocaine which he intended to deliver to others in East Texas.

Eastern pleaded guilty on August 30, 2012, to a charge of possession with intent to distribute cocaine before Magistrate Judge John D. Love.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Canton Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Baldwin.
