My client is looking for an exceptional Delivery Design Manager to develop and test design solutions for reducing the levels of the sequential manual handing of packets items and assist with their exciting new automation programme.
This is an opportunity to work within the project team of the Pineline Design strand to lead the development of the operational designs for the movement and handling of these packets; and to integrate the technical design solutions for the Packets Pipeline into the delivery office environment. You will be accountable for the design and testing of operational solutions and scoping of costs and benefits for inclusion in the packets automation business case.
It is essential that you have demonstrable experience of:
*Designing operational solutions for eliminating NVA in the movement and handling of inventory in plants.
*Working within in the postal or express or related sectors.
*A strong background in process improvement and a deep knowledge of the potential solutions and application for creating an efficient and viable operation at the delivery end of the 3D Pipeline.
